About Dr. Candice Matthews:

In June 2021, the Leaders Esteemed Bible University gave Dr. Candice Matthews Statewide Vice Chair an honorary doctorate in humanities. In December 2022, she was also named the President of the Board Regis. People who have done great work in a certain field or service to the community are given these prestigious awards.

Dr. Matthews meets this requirement and a lot more. She is the Executive Director of the non-profit Children of Diversity Foster Adoption Agency, which has offices in Houston and Beaumont, Texas.

Honorary doctorates have been given out for a long time, and university committees, which may include senior executives and professors with tenure, give them a lot of thought. People usually know about well-known people who have been honored in this way. Still, when a lesser-known person gets an honorary doctorate, it is not because of their fame but because of their higher level of purpose, hard work, and achievement.

In her current job, Dr. Candice designs, develop, and implements strategic plans for the Children of Diversity Foster Adoption Agency in a way that saves money and time. Her daily tasks include running the organization, managing committees, training staff, and working with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services and the Texas Department of Human Health Services to make business plans.
